Location: Hybrid Remote/ On-Site at Tyler1News HQ, Somalia

Salary: $180,000/yr + Event Bonuses


Description

Are you passionate about documenting the larger-than-life adventures of Tyler1? We’re looking for an on-the-ground journalist to attend all Tyler1 IRL events, capturing every wild moment and documenting his legendary (or questionable) escapades. From fitness expos to pop-up fan meet-and-greets, you’ll be tasked with reporting on Tyler’s unique interactions, recording exclusive quotes, and identifying the key details that make each event unforgettable. Ideal candidates will know how to navigate chaotic crowds, hold their own in intense gaming conversations, and spot a headline-worthy Tyler moment from a mile away.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in field journalism or event reporting
  • Proven expertise in crowd control and interview management
  • A keen eye for capturing the essence of Tyler1 in words and images
  • Willingness to adapt to Tyler’s unpredictable schedule and travel frequently
  • Ability to channel Tyler1’s energy in your writing (caps lock for emphasis a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or “Being Built Different”
