Tyler1’s Halloween Horror Week Recap: Trick or Trick?
By Tyler1News on Twitch, October 27th, 2024
Once a Scammer, Always a Scammer?
As Halloween approached, Tyler1 decided to treat his fans to a week-long horror-themed streaming extravaganza, promising an exciting lineup of spooky games and festive fun. However, what his fans anticipated as a full seven-day celebration quickly turned into a classic case of “Scammler1” as Tyler failed to deliver on many of his promises.
Day 1 - Monday: Tyler Sets New Records in Until Dawn's Remake
Day one kicked off with the remake of Until Dawn, a game Tyler had previously played. Unfortunately, his attempt at this highly-anticipated stream is now being dubbed the worst Until Dawn playthrough in history. Tyler managed to get all the best characters killed while being scared silly by what could only be described as Mickey Mouse jump scares. To top it off, he donned a blue Power Ranger cosplay, adding a bizarre twist to an already chaotic stream. To say the least, Tyler struggled to handle his hormones in this one, a fact we've delved into deeper in a previous article.
Day 2 - Tuesday: Welcome to the Game Scam 2: Tyler Taps Out Early
The second day saw Tyler diving into Welcome to the Game 2, an atmospheric horror/strategy/puzzle game that plunges players into the dark world of the deep web. However, Tyler was ready to throw in the towel after just four hours of pip-squeak gameplay, leaving fans disappointed and wondering where the thrilling content they were promised had gone. Viewers were baffled on whether he was going to finish the full stream, but Tyler was already offline and already relaxing on his $20,000 couch.
Day 3 - Wednesday: The Two-Hour Pumpkin Trick-or-Treat: Blink and You’ll Miss It
Day three took a surprising turn as Tyler opted for an IRL cooking stream, aiming to whip up some festive pumpkin pie and carve pumpkins. Fans were highly anticipated for this one, but “Scammler1” struck again, delivering a microscopic two-hour stream. Tyler’s pumpkin pie looked like a culinary crime scene, and the tiny spoonful he offered his daughter resulted in a horrified reaction that said it all. The stream also showcased classic domestic arguing between Tyler and Macaiyla - perhaps this was the horror of the stream, giving viewers flashbacks to their childhoods. After the pumpkin carving, Tyler abruptly ended the stream, leaving viewers once more in disbelief over the lack of gaming content.
Day 4 - Thursday: Cafe of Chaos: Tyler vs. The Kettle
Day four rolled around, and fans were hopeful for a return to horror gaming, but Tyler had other plans. Instead of playing modern AAA titles, he cheaped-out and went for some retro 1980s horror games to 'save on money', including a cafe simulator that exposed his shocking lack of social skills as he struggled to make a simple coffee and figure out how to turn on a kettle. His attempt at roleplaying as a V-tuber was another moment that fans would rather forget.
Day 5 - Friday: The Quarry Quandary: Blaming the Script for His Own Mistakes
Day five finally brought the promise of a high-quality horror game: The Quarry. However, Tyler once again delivered the worst playthrough imaginable, getting all the characters killed in spectacular fashion. Instead of taking responsibility for his poor choices, Tyler blamed the story writing of the game, claiming it was 'poorly written' - despite having full control over every decision.
Saturday and Sunday: Tyler's Vanishing Magic Trick: Now You See Me, Now You Don't!
After a week filled with disappointments, the weekend arrived and fans expected some exciting weekend streams to save the week. Instead, Tyler left them hanging by not even going live, leaving them convinced that Tyler has offically gone back to his scamming ways, in full force, right on the heels of his recent Elden Ring marathon scandal.
Fans are now expecting a full Christmas themed week of streams in December to make up for the severe lack of content this Halloween. Despite the fact that this week contained the least amount of content out of any Tyler1 streaming week in history, fans remained surprisingly positive. Many expressed appreciation for the effort Tyler put in and the multiple cosplays he wore throughout the week (even though all the costumes were straight from Walmart), proving that even in the face of disappointment, his fans remain loyal and appreciate the thoughtful entertainment Tyler tries to put together.
